From Merry Wind Farm, this English sampler is a
companion sampler to Mary Clay 1805. Amilia and
Mary were best friends in North Carleton,
Lincolnshire back in the late 18th and early 19th
centuries and they completed their samplers a week
apart in April 1805. Stitched on 36ct Legacy
linen using Gentle Art Sampler Threads and/or DMC
floss with a stitch count of 233 x 298. |
