|Item Name:||Jannet Stevenson's Sampler|
|Item Number:||TGP - 16839|
From Gentle Pursuits, this Scottish reproduction sampler is shown on 40ct Light Examplar from Lakeside Linens using Au Ver A Soie d'Alger silks (with DMC alternatives provided); stitch count is 274 x 282. Comes with a historical sketch of Jannet, her teacher, and the city they lived in along with step by step instructions to complete the sampler, and 12 pages of easy to read graphs using black and white symbols with colored lines. Jannet utilized the following stitches: Cross Stitch over 2, Cross Stitch over 1, Queen Stitch for her stacked strawberry pyramids, Double Running Stitch to illuminate some initials and motifs, and Sawtooth Satin Stitch bands to enclose her Cross Stitch over 1 name, family initials, city and teacher's name. The sampler is appropriate for an intermediate stitcher but may be successfully completed by a confident beginner with a solid grasp of Queen Stitch.
