From Island Cottage Needleworks, this lovely
design is based on a penny rug and it has
wonderful, spring colours, is a quick stitch and
could easily be finished in time for Mother’s
Day. The stitch count is
93 w x 69 h and is stitched on 36 ct Vintage
Homespun from Lakeside Linens. The threads
are from GAST: Picnic Basket, Chives, Tiger
Lily, Geranium, Rhubarb, Purple Iris,
Wheatfields, Blueberry and Red Plum. Four
mother of pearl mini-hearts buttons from
Kelmscott Designs are needed for the corners. |
