From Plum Street Samplers, this
design is the telling of the story of America's
most famous seamstress - Elizabeth Griscom,
also known as Betsy Ross and is a companion
piece to "Heritage Sampler". At the top of this
sampler is the declaration made by the
Continental Congress when they adopted the flag
on June 14, 1777. Shown on 36ct Oaken linen
from PTP with a stitch count of 168 x 185. Uses
Classic Colorworks (Black Coffee, Cinnamon
Toast, Green Onion, Antique Lace, Blue Corn,
Petite Maison, Hickory Stocks, Used Brick,
Jakey Brown), Weeks Dye Works (Oscar,
Grapevine, Crimson) and DMC floss (221, 224,
640, 645, 647, 830, 832, 931, 3371).
