From Sajou, these lovely lovely scissors are based on a 19th century design. They are very fine scissors with pointed blades, perfect for embroidery and Hardanger. golden handles are comprised of a floral motif with delicate pearls placed on the “eyes”. They are perfect for those who desire fine tools and pass them down as heirlooms. 3 3/4"long. Made entirely in France, it takes a dozen qualified artisans to make each pair. Scissors, Le Petit Monstre

From Sajou, these scissors get their name (The Little Monster) because of the disproportion between the handles and the blades. In days gone by they were used in miniature sewing kits. Hot forged, Sajou scissors are hand-made in small workshops in France and their production entails no less than 20 manual operations. The scissors are presented in special floral boxes. Sajou scissors are quality that can be identified by their pairing marks. This indicates that the two blades have been perfectly adjusted to form a pair.

Scissors, Tortoiseshell (Ecaille)

Inspired by the Charles X era. these 4 1/2" long scissors have tortoiseshell effect handles, which was a very popular material of that time. The blades are fine and delicate, these are very light and a delight to use!
