From Summer House Stitche Workes and inspired by a PA German sampler from 1799, this design takes reproduction samplers to the next level. The sampler is not reproduced in its entirety, but serves as the basis for three prim loving projects: a huswife, an ort box and a needle book. Complete finishing instructions with photos are included. You will love the elegant simplicity of this design! The Huswife is on 40ct Light Examplar; the Ort box on 40ct Meadow Rue - both from Lakeside Linens .. using Needlepoint Silk and Gloriana silks. The Needlbook uses Houndstooth & Palamino Glen Plaid Wools from Weeks Dye Works. Stitch Count for huswife is 300w x 72h; for ort box, 47w x 66h. The inside of the huswife features three pockets for stitching necessities and is accented with Round Mother of Pearl thread rings from Kelmscott Designs. The Ort Box/Pin Cushion is shown finished on a Lone Elm Lane 4" Timber Brown Pin Cushion frame.
